Elan Environmental uses electrostatic fogging to provide deep cleaning solutions for businesses in Belfast and Northern Ireland. Fogging, also known as touchless disinfection or electrostatic spraying, is proved as an effective method to remove COVID-19/Coronavirus from buildings where staff or customers have tested positive for COVID-19.
The process of fogging, uses electrostatic spray to remove infection diseases and viruses, including COVID-19 (coronavirus). This process is quick and provides better coverage than traditional deep cleaning methods, helping you to get back to work safely and efficiently within the day.
Fogging Technique - How Does It Work?
The process of electrostatic fogging involves spraying an electronically charged mist onto surfaces and objects, causing the mist to wrap itself around surfaces evenly and kill bacteria and viruses.
The disinfectant particles are charged to an electrostatic force equivalent to 75 times gravity, which means that they can reach hard-to-reach areas, and effectively deep clean surfaces well beyond the reach of conventional spray systems.
Why Should I Choose Fogging To Deep Clean My Business?
Elan Environmental’s electrostatic fogging services are extremely effective in tackling any cases of COVID-19 in your business.
We would strongly recommend fogging as a safer and more effective alternative to traditional deep cleaning methods. As a form of touchless disinfection, it will ensure less exposure to the hygiene operator and the general public, but it will also reduce the likelihood of manual error and cross-contamination.
As a safe and environmentally friendly form of disinfection, fogging is suitable for most businesses, including:
- Schools and educational facilities
- Nursing home and care homes
- Retailers and commercial businesses
- Pubs, restaurants and cafes
- Gyms and leisure facilities
- Medical facilities
What Chemicals Are Used?
We use Sanosil Hydrogen Peroxide Vapour (HPV), a hospital grade disinfectant, to carry out fogging services.
Sanosil kills more than 99.9% of harmful bacteria, including Coronavirus (COVID-19), MRSA, C-Diff, Norovirus, Equine Influenza and VRE. It is regularly used in operating theatres, intensive care units, kitchens, educational premises and all sorts of workplaces, and is recognised as an effective disinfectant. It is silver-stabilised and used at 5% concentrate, which is fully proven to fight viruses, having been tested under relevant European Standards.
The disinfectant is chlorine and alcohol free, and degrades into water and oxygen, making it one of the safest forms of disinfection. It is non-allergenic, environmentally friendly, and poses no risk to humans, animals or plants.
How Long Does The Process Take?
Electrostatic fogging, or touchless disinfection, is an extremely quick but effective method of disinfecting your premises, and is 70% quicker than traditional deep cleaning methods. Time required to disinfect the building is dependent on the environment. However, you will be able to return to your premises within the day.
Will It Damage Office Supplies or Equipment?
Electrostatic sprayer and fogging devices are “dry sprays”, and therefore do not leave wet surfaces or residue.
Fogging can be safely performed around laptops, monitors and keyboards as long as it is not applied at close range.
